Monitoring
GIP offers a range of in-situ monitoring services for both gas and groundwater as part of any on-going site investigation, or as a stand alone service for clients' own purposes.
GIP's monitoring facilities typically include measuring levels of gases such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide and oxygen.
Our teams are also able to offer monitoring and sampling services using a variety of methods, including:-
- Monitoring of standpipes for landfill gases and groundwater
- Inclinometers
- Piezometers - pneumatic, standpipe, vibrating wire.
- Magnetic extensometers
- Slow flow groundwater pumping and sampling
- In-situ pH and EC assessment
