We have spent many years assessing and stabilising landslides. So often, the long term stability of the repairs we design relies on establishing a sound cover of vegetation. We have used standard hydroseeding but with mixed results. Salix offered us a sprayed system with a base formed of straw and reclaimed cotton plant material mixed with a variety of seeds. On a recent project their HYDRACX2 was sprayed a couple of hours before very heavy storms which would normally wash clean a standard hydroseeded slope. Their product was like nothing we have ever seen. It never moved and is still growing well. www.salixrw.com
