In House Laboratory Services

GIP's in-house UKAS accredited laboratory provides a range of services, not only to our own technical teams as part of their investigative works, but also directly for its own customers, including landfill operators, earthworks contractors, structural engineers, architects, tree surgeons and builders.

We offer a wide range of internal and external soils testing, from simple moisture content and classification testing through to Moisture Condition Value and Consolidation Testing. All testing is carried out in accordance with BS 1377. We also offer a range of BRE testing, including Slag Expansion and Filter Paper Dessication Tests.

GIP is also able to facilitate other specialist contamination testing and Geotechnical testing

We are able to offer free sample collections subject to the size of the project, and an expedited turaround on our testing services at an additional charge. Longer term sample storage is also available.
