Earthworks
Earthworks schemes are often required on larger construction sites and GIP is able to design investigations to determine the viability of such earthworks.
These investigations involve extensive laboratory-based testing to assess the engineering characteristics of the soils and materials on the site and their suitability for compaction.
GIP's teams of engineers will then design schemes specifying how these materials should be appropriately reused on site. The progress of the earthworks is then monitored by GIP using in-situ testing techniques to assess compliance with the specifications.
At GIP we also offer full validation reporting on all earthworks schemes to ensure that they meet the requirements of the specification.
